Companies are nominated for the “Best Hotel” category by the Front Row Publication and Media Services Corporation’s Grumpy Gourmet committee, but winners are selected through a public voting process. Evaluation is based on a broad range of criteria, from reservations to room service, dining to check-out. This year, a record-breaking 70% of the public votes came from outside Jordan, a testament to the Hotel’s popularity with regional travellers.

“Receiving this award for the third year in a row is an honour,” says Gerhard Stutz, general manager of Four Seasons Hotel Amman. “It’s a tribute to the wonderful team of employees we have, who continue to provide our guests with an experience that exceeds their expectations.”

The Grumpy Gourmet was established in 1995, and is the leading supporter and critic of full-service restaurants and distinguished hospitality professionals in the region. The aim of the Grumpy Gourmet Awards is to reward establishments, as well as individuals, in the region’s service and food and beverage industries based on their ability to consistently deliver on a variety of criteria, including service, quality, cleanliness, ambiance, safety, creativity and value for money.
