This autumn, the Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta harnesses the power of the honeybee with the new Honey Delight treatment. This treatment features locally sourced oatmeal, and honey harvested from the Hotel’s very own apiary.

The Honey Delight treatment begins with a gentle exfoliation of the skin using a mixture of honey and soothing oatmeal. The exfoliation is followed by a rejuvenating honey oil massage. A full-body application of honey moisturiser leaves the skin perfectly smooth and hydrated. Post-treatment, guests will enjoy peach blossom tea sweetened with honeycomb and a honey caramel treat prepared in the Hotel’s kitchen using the Chef’s own honey.

The idea of a honey body treatment was inspired by the installation by Park 75’s Executive Chef Robert Gerstenecker of a bee apiary on the Hotel’s fifth-floor terrace. Spa Director Garth Mamicpic explains, “With honey being all the ‘buzz’ at Four Seasons, this was the perfect season to invite spa-goers in to rejuvenate their skin and body after the summer’s heat.”

Honey is truly one of nature’s most gentle and effective beauty treatments. Some “buzz-worthy” benefits include:

• Containing powerful antioxidants that help reverse ageing

The Honey Delight treatment is available from now until February 1, 2010, and is priced at USD 140.00 for 50 minutes and USD 165.00 for 80 minutes. Appointments are available every day from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm, and spa guests are encouraged to take advantage of all other spa amenities, including the sauna and steam room.
