The mixologists at Four Seasons Hotel Austin’s Lobby Lounge are once again helping make holiday spirits bright with new cocktails that tempt the taste buds and evoke memories of treasured moments with family and friends.

Available in the Lobby Lounge for USD 12.50 each from November 1, 2009, through January 3, 2010, the 2009 holiday cocktail menu includes the following:

Mistletoe Mojito – This Cuban classic gets a holiday makeover with fresh cranberries, rum and a “mistletoe mint” garnish. While we can’t guarantee you’ll get a kiss, we’re confident you’ll fall in love with this festive concoction.

Yule-Thyme Martini – Inspired by stuffing (that’s right, stuffing), this elegant offering features herb-infused vodka and a Hen of the Woods mushroom garnish. Definitely not your typical holiday drink, it’s perfect for vodka martini lovers who aren’t afraid of a touch of smokiness.

Brandy Melt – Stay warm and toasty all winter long with a mouth-watering mix of Illy coffee, brandy, amaretto and white crème de cacao. Topped with homemade whipped cream, chocolate cacao beans and toasted almonds, this coffee drink wraps you in warmth like your favourite winter blanket.

Flute Cocktail – Fresh and lively, this sparkling drink makes spirits light with its guilt-free mix of prosecco and melon liqueur garnished with red and green grapes.

S’More the Merrier – For the kid in all of us, this translation of a s’more from summer dessert to winter drink is sure to become a favourite. Richly indulgent with Godiva dark chocolate liqueur, Tuaca (a vanilla-flavoured Italian liqueur) and cream, it’s topped with toasted vanilla bean marshmallow crème and has a cinnamon graham cracker crumb rim.

With sophisticated décor and dramatic views of green lawns and Lady Bird Lake, the Lobby Lounge is one of Austin’s most happening spots, as popular with politicos and locals as it is with guests.
