At Beverly Wilshire, it's time to tweet and taste once again. The second annual tweet-up in sidebar will focus on sparkling wine so guests can finally learn what the difference really is between Champagne, prosecco and American sparkling wine. The Hotel is joined by 17 other Four Seasons hotels and resorts from Texas to Hawaii who will be simultaneously tweeting from their respective time zones. Guests are invited to join the party live in sidebar or virtually by following #FSwine.

CUT and sidebar's Dana Farner will be one of four sommeliers moderating the tasting while imparting her knowledge as the event goes along, and answering questions as they come. Dana’s expertise and warm personality make the perfect companion for a memorable evening. Dana cleverly notes “sparkling wine is the only beverage I will always say yes to.”

Chef de Cuisine Ari Rosenson is offering his gift of big-eye tuna slider with yuzu aioli and preserved lemon to every guest who checks-in on Facebook or Foursquare. And to sweeten the deal, a Foursquare check-in also gives guests complimentary valet parking.

Join the Hotel on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in sidebar, with tweets focused from 6:30 to 7:30 pm PST. The tasting cost for a flight of all three wines is USD 25.00 per person. Guests can sign up online to tweet along from anywhere in the world. It’s not necessary to RSVP to attend in person, just remember to bring ripe taste buds and a charged mobile phone.
