It’s sizzling this summer in Orlando - in the kitchens, that is - at the acclaimed restaurants of Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort. Helmed by Executive Chef Fabrizio Schenardi, the culinary team has cooked up a hot summer and fall lineup of incredible events and activities. Save the dates below for these upcoming mouthwatering events and special happenings.

July 2017

The Lobby Bar and Capa are participating in the nationwide Charc Week event from July 24 to 29. During these dates, restaurants around the country will be showcasing their charcuterie chops, highlighting a special presentation of at least four housemade charcuterie items. Restaurants “on board” with the Charc Week charcuterie special will feature creations such as bacon, ham, pate, terrines, rillettes, galantines and duck confit, and one dollar from each plate sold will benefit a local food bank. The Lobby Bar at Four Seasons Resort Orlando will offer a board of capicolla, lonza, pork rilettes, duck prosciutto, giardiniera and grissini for USD 15.  Capa, the rooftop steakhouse at the Resort, will offer a board of capicolla, lonza, pork rilettes, duck prosciutto, pâté de campagne, cornichons and country bread for USD 25.  One dollar from each dish will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank, servicing greater Orlando.

August 2017

Known as the best time period for foodies to truly savour all of Orlando’s amazing dining options, the five-week Magical Dining event is offered August 25 through October 1. More than 70 restaurants will present a three-course, prix fixe dinner menu for USD 35.  Ravello is thrilled to participate for the third year, supporting VISIT ORLANDO’s initiative that also gives back to a designated charity partner.  The Magical Dining menus and charity beneficiary will be announced soon.

On August 19, Plancha, the Cuban American restaurant at Tranquilo Golf Clubhouse, will support the Taste! Central Florida, an event benefitting Second Harvest. The fun event features tastings from the area’s top restaurants, all to combat childhood hunger.

September and October 2017

The renowned Epcot International Food & Wine Festival  is back for its 22nd year. The festival is bigger than ever, in celebration of the 35th anniversary of Epcot. Four Seasons Resort Orlando will be participating for the fourth year in a row at the popular Festival Center culinary demonstrations and at two Party For the Senses grand tasting events.  The festival opens August 31 and runs through November 13 and will feature a record 75 days of global culinary creations, celebrity chefs, premium events, Eat to the Beat concerts, and more. Two Four Seasons chefs are participating in the festivities:

  • September 2: Chef Mikey Termini of PB&G will conduct a culinary demonstration, showcasing his macadamia nut-crusted mahi with ginger lemongrass rice and Hawaiian lilikoi butter sauce.
  • October 7:  Chef Termini will participate in the Party For the Senses grand tasting event, presenting togarashi spiced mahi over cashew cabbage salad.
  • October 14: Executive Pastry Chef Rabii Saber will participate in the Party For the Senses grand tasting event and he will serve Tropical Indulgence: milk chocolate custard with mango passion coulis and ginger chantilly. Joining him will be Executive Chef Fabrizio Schenardi, who will serve venison with juniper berries, semolina gnocchi and shoestring butternut squash.

Hualalai Chef Fest

From October 4 to 8, Chef Schenardi is saying “aloha” to Orlando and is heading west to the Big Island. Chef Schenardi will partake in the annual Chef Fest at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, the only AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Five Star hotel on Hawaii Island. The resort will host a multi-day food and wine event featuring high-profile dinners, interactive cooking classes and culinary experiences.  The series of events showcases some of the country’s best culinary and mixology talent in an intimate beachfront setting.
