Four Seasons Hotel Prague and Bazaar Charity Foundation organised a charity dinner on August 9, 2017 with the personal participation of Manolo Blahník whose exhibition, The Art of Shoes, is being held at the Museum Kampa in Prague until November 12, 2017. As part of the evening program, there was a silent auction that included not only art objects and clothes from the collections of contemporary Czech designers, but also six pairs of original made-to-measure classic Hangisi pumps by Blahník.

Guests at the dinner took part in auctions for, among other items, jewellery designed by Roberto Coin, a dress by Tatiana Kovarikova, admission to the luxury golf resort at Slapy, a Dolce & Gabbana handbag and paintings by Jiri Dokoupil, Jan Saudek and Pasta Oner. In addition, Four Seasons Hotel Prague donated gift certificates for stays at its sister properties in Milan and St. Petersburg, and a treatment at its AVA Spa in Prague. The total amount raised for Bazaar Charity was CZK 1,017,000, 100 percent of which will go towards charities involved in helping people with disabilities of the nervous and motor systems.

“As well as being a hotel partner of the exhibition, we are also involved in other activities related to the presence of Mr. Blahník in Prague. The Blahník name is a well-known concept in the world of fashion and that is why we have come naturally to join the Bazaar Charity and prepared a charity dinner. Helping people in a particular way is fully in line with the Hotel´s corporate social responsibility,” says René Beauchamp, General Manager, Four Seasons Hotel Prague.

As part of its partnership with the Manolo Blahník exhibition at the Museum Kampa in Prague in August, Four Seasons Hotel Prague created a very special offer, the Manolo Blahník Package, that includes luxurious accommodation, daily American breakfast for two and two tickets to the Manolo Blahník exhibition. A print of a sketch of a Manolo Blahník shoe from a special collection created for the Czech exhibition is included as a memento. AVA Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Prague presents a special foot treatment that is a tribute to this world-famous designer of shoes with Czech roots.
