Four Seasons Hotel Seoul Welcomes New Head Bartender Lorenzo Antinori

Four Seasons Hotel Seoul announces the appointment of Lorenzo Antinori as its new Head Bartender. Antinori leads the team at Charles H. and oversees all bar operations and the cocktail program at the Hotel following in the footsteps of his predecessor Christopher Lowder, who has successfully positioned Charles H .in both World’s 100 Best Bars and Asia’s 50 Best Bars list 2016 within one year of opening.

Originally from Rome, Italy, Antinori brings with him a wealth of international experience as a bartender working in many different locations around the world. Antinori began his hospitality career at the Hotel de Russie, part of the Rocco Forte Collection in Rome, then re-located to Australia and Mexico before settling down in London, England working at the renowned Savoy Hotel’s American Bar and Beaufort Bar from 2011 to 2015. During this time, Antinori’s bar team was awarded sixth on The World’s 50 Best Bars 2011 and Best International Hotel Bar 2015. Before making the decision to move to Seoul, Antinori held the post of Head Bartender at The Mondrian Hotel London’s Dandelyan bar, where he took the bar to new heights and positioned the bar to third on The World’s 50 Best Bars 2016.

After great success in London, Antinori’s arrival in Seoul is a welcome addition to Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, bringing to the team not only his great pedigree and extensive bartending experience but also his passion and enthusiasm for Charles H. Baker and his story.

As commented by Antinori, “Throughout my career, I spent a lot of time learning about Charles H. Baker’s story and when the opportunity came to join the outstanding team here at Seoul, I was delighted. I am excited to carry on the next phase of Charles H. with the team and to also share my love for cocktails and the story of Charles H. with the people here in Seoul, and to the global audience as well!”
