Steampunk Airship Lands at Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley

Time to dust off the goggles, ruffle those bustles and shine up the top hats: Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley at East Palo is joining forces with Airpusher Collective with an outdoor Steampunk Silent Disco. Taking place Friday, September 22, 2017 from 5:00 to 11:00 pm, the event invites revellers to celebrate the unique music, art and creativity of the Bay Area while enjoying festive food and delicious drinks. Taking place on the front drive of the Hotel, the centrepiece of the event will be Airpusher’s infamous Art Car, a moving contraption that is part old timey pirate ship, part futuristic blimp. Envisioned as a means to collectively share their music at the annual Burning Man festival, the Art Car is completely hand built by 40 of the community's most dedicated members all coming from various cultural, professional and creative backgrounds.

Commanding the Art Car and leading the Silent disco will be local DJ Cptn Jay with his unique blend of stripped down funky deep house, techno of all types and world grooves. Joëly, a DJ from Los Angeles, will also grace the Art Car airwaves with her own blend of spirited urban house grooves. BELLOSOUND will be spinning from the Quattro Terrace, which will also have its own channel. The event is open to the public and attendees will be able to rent a silent disco headset for USD 30 each to tune in to their favourite DJ or switch between channels throughout the night.

Food and drink tickets will be available for purchase to enjoy a selection of delicious street food such as chicken and vegetarian empanadas and meatball subs and the made-to-order mini donut station. Four bars will feature specialty cocktails by Don Julio Tequila, Bulleit Bourbon and Ketel One in addition to the customised cocktails offered at The Bar. A special Champagne bar serving Moët & Chandon and Dom Perignon will be in [esc], the Hotel’s newest restaurant adjacent to the lobby and easily accessible from the outdoor festivities.
