ENO Wine Bar’s menu is blooming with cherry blossom-themed options available throughout the National Cherry Blossom Festival. Offerings will feature locally sourced products from Washington, DC, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Specialty menu items are:

  • A duck pâté with dark cherries, pink peppercorn and pistachios from ENO’s Georgetown neighbour Stachowski’s Market served with freshly made toasted cherry-walnut bread and priced at USD 16
  • Cherrykriek cider from Maryland-based Millstone Cidery priced at USD 30 per bottle
  • Cherry blossom chocolates from Pennsylvania-based artisanal chocolate maker Zoe’s Chocolate Co. priced at USD 11 for a trio or USD 4 for a single chocolate

A Taste of Japan at Bourbon Steak

BOURBON STEAK’s Executive Chef Joe Palma has curated the most robust steak list in the capital city. Nodding to Japan and the restaurant’s meat-centric style, Palma will offer a special Duo of Japanese Wagyu available exclusively during DC’s Cherry Blossom Festival, priced at USD 290 exclusive of tax and gratuity.  The Duo features:

  • Two cuts of 3 oz. wagyu reigning from different regions in Japan: Miyazaki and Kagoshima

The Budding Scents of Spring at The Spa

The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC is bringing back a seasonal favourite featuring the scents of spring. The Sakura Ritual Body Treatment is inspired by Washington, DC’s renowned Cherry Blossom Season, and symbolises renewal for the mind, body and spirit. The 80-minute body treatment includes:

  • A dry brushing technique to prepare the skin and stimulate the lymphatic system to release toxins and encourage detoxification
  • A paraffin hand or foot treatment to rescue skin from colder weather and to increase blood flow
  • A personalized full body massage using either green tea essential oil or a fragrant blossom lotion
  • To conclude the treatment, a Japanese antioxidant green tea is served to reduce the formation of free radicals in the body to keep skin looking youthful and glowing

The treatment is available from Wednesday, March 15 until Sunday, April 30, 2017.

For an indulgent cherry blossom spa experience that is available year-round, guests are invited to book the Cherry Blossom Champagne Body Treatment. The 80-minute body treatment includes:

  • A dry brushing technique to prepare the skin and stimulate the lymphatic system to release toxins and encourage detoxification
  • Immersion in a deep soaking tub to cleanse and soothe the skin
  • A body polish using an all-natural champagne and salt scrub to leave skin smoothed and refined
  • A relaxing body wrap to absorb and draw out toxins from the skin
  • An application of a luxurious blossom body butter that seals in moisture, leaving skin feeling pampered and renewed.

Both treatments are priced at USD 265 from Monday to Thursday, USD 285 from Friday to Sunday and USD 330 during special events and holidays.
