The Spa Launches New Treatment Menu – Indigenous Decadence. Since the dawn of humankind, indigenous healers have used the rainforest for medicinal cures and herbal remedies.

The Spa has launched a series of new massages and treatments, including natural healing bamboo massage, ear candling and mom-to-be pregnancy massage. Innovative new spa retreats focus on energy and revitalization. The new holistic full-body rebalancing retreat uses a form of vibration therapy, a Tibetan singing bowl and quartz crystals for chakra balancing.
The Spa uses local organic plants, fruits and flowers for their strong healing properties in its treatments, such as in the Costa Rican coffee scrub, volcanic mud wrap and healing hot stone massage. The coffee scrub uses freshly ground coffee beans combined with natural oils that increase circulation, while the mud for the mud wrap is taken from deep within the Costa Rican earth and is abundant with trace minerals. The hot stone massage uses heated volcanic and river stones to loosen taut muscles and unlock energy within the body.
