Recently, frequent guests and local regulars have found new excitement with special theme nights and a new express business lunch menu, spearheaded by Marco Zanolari, the Hotel’s director of food and beverage.

Hip India Lounge takes place Thursday and Friday evenings on the Après Spa Café terrace. This new concept was inspired by the lively diversity of contemporary Indian culture, which is reflected throughout the themed décor, music and gourmet snack menu that includes moutabel (masala-roasted eggplant) and naan bread. The ambience is enhanced by the open terrace and a view over the Arabian Gulf and marina, romantically illuminated by the city lights.

The Espresso Business Lunch was designed for busy professionals who appreciate the art of fine cuisine yet require speedy, efficient service, which ultimately adds valuable time to a demanding work day. All courses are presented simultaneously, so that the meal can be enjoyed during a lunch hour.

Espresso Business Lunches can be enjoyed at Il Teatro, the highly acclaimed Italian restaurant, as a two- or three-course menu, expertly created by Chef Mauro Bellodi. Zanolari has recently brought together a new, dynamic Il Teatro team, offering an inviting warmth to the classic restaurant.

Brasserie on the Beach recently introduced themed evenings such as Seafood Soirée, a sophisticated market-style buffet where a pristine sea harvest is displayed on ice and prepared to preference by the chef. “It is one of the most diverse restaurants in town, with its lively open kitchen, extensive buffet and kiddies’ menus,” notes Zanolari. “It creates a festive environment to share with family and friends. Or, with a candlelit table set for two on the Brasserie Terrace, below a moonlit sky, it becomes a perfect scene for romance.”
