Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has opened a brand new eatery, Firebird Diner by Michael Mina, in advance of the Hotel's opening later this month. Set to make its mark on the UAE culinary scene, Firebird Diner by Michael Mina is the latest restaurant to open in the Dubai International Financial Centre and plays tribute to the iconic American eatery of the 1950s, delivering a timeless dining experience for all, enhanced with a sunny outdoor terrace. This unique restaurant boasts effortlessly elegant interiors by New York-based Tihany Design.

Michael Mina is an internationally-renowned celebrity chef with an array of successful restaurants across the United States. Firebird Diner by Michael Mina, situated prominently in the soon-to-be-open Four Seasons Hotel, marks the anticipated debut for the James Beard award winning chef and his restaurant group, MINA Group, in the Middle East and is an exciting new chapter in Michael’s career.

From breakfast and business lunches to world-class dinners, cocktails and late-night snacking, the new restaurant features elevated American diner classics including an array of signature burgers and dishes.  Many dishes are shareable plates, such as the Philly cheese steaks with griddled and shaved top sirloin of angus beef, roasted peppers and cheese sauce; grilled cheese and tomato soup; and foie gras sliders with candied kumquat and spiced date puree.  Larger plates include dishes such as Michael’s signature lobster pot pie with truffle cream, pastry and baby vegetables; “chicken fried” wagyu steak with horseradish mashed potatoes; and Chef Mina’s All-American burger made with smoked gouda, secret sauce, romaine, veal bacon and onion marmalade. An extensive bar menu features perfectly executed classic cocktails such as the Hemingway Daiquiri, Aviation, New York Sour and Ward 8. Also not to be missed is the selection of milkshake creations that will delight diners of all ages.

Plush booths, tables and a signature diner-style counter set the stage within the Tihany-designed restaurant for an authentic taste of Americana, complete with a vintage 1950s juke box where guests can pick and choose their own desired songs from a pre-set playlist. The diner also features a large al fresco terrace and transparent kitchen to complete the classic diner experience.
