Few parents haven’t heard the cry of “Can I have a pony?” at some point in their child’s life. Now, Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire is giving children the opportunity to experience what it would be like if this dream were to come true.

On weekends and school holidays, guests aged 7 to 16 can learn about proper care of a pony, from grooming to mucking out the stables, and go for rides accompanied by a trained instructor. This wonderful full- or half-day experience includes lunch and takes place at the Hotel’s on-site stables.

Executive Chef Cyrille Pannier wanted to do more than offer to warm up bottles for infants, leaving parents to bring along prepared baby foods. The Infant Menu at Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire – available in all dining outlets and through In-Room Dining – is suitable for children under 18 months who have been introduced to solid food.

Selections include “power boosters” such as tomato and vegetable cream soups, followed by “bone builders” such as mashed vegetables, rice porridge, boiled and mashed lentils, and corn and rice flakes soaked in milk or yogurt, plus a variety of puréed fresh fruit, including apples from the Hotel’s own orchard.

Another help for Mum and Dad: the Infant Menu is complimentary for little ones staying at the Hotel with their families.
