Sunday Lunch Is a Local Love Affair. Henry VIII met his Spanish princess on this very estate, but for Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire, it’s a local love affair.

In celebration of the acclaimed Hampshire Farmers’ Markets across the county, Four Seasons has created its own farmers’ market in Seasons restaurant. Displaying the finest local produce, this interactive Sunday lunch includes a roast carvery, a Hampshire cheese station, a potato and vegetable medley and a sinfully sweet dessert buffet to finish – but only after a complimentary glass of English sparkling wine.

Sunday lunch travels no more than 805 kilometres (500 miles) before it reaches the table – compared to the average distance food travels in the UK, 56,330 kilometres (35,000 miles). Throughout the Hotel, all produce is sourced locally whenever possible. Using only double cream, Lyburn churn butter is made especially for Four Seasons and is delivered from 74 kilometres (46 miles) away. The greenest watercress grows only 11 kilometres (7 miles) from the Hotel’s front door in Mapledurwell and is served in the delicious signature watercress soup. Wild venison travels a mere 72 kilometres (45 miles) to reach the table from the New Forest.

Sunday lunch includes a kid’s buffet and is served weekly from 12:30 pm, with the last seating at 3:30 pm. The cost is GBP 39.50 per person and includes a complimentary glass of English sparkling wine. For children 8 to 12 years old, the cost is GBP 21.50 per child, and from 4 to 8 years, it’s GBP 15.50 per child. Little ones under 4 staying at the Hotel dine for free.
