Frankincense, traditionally used in ancient Egyptian ceremonies for its meditative aromas, is known to have a calming influence, whereas myrrh is reputed to maintain healthy skin and was used in Egypt in rejuvenating face masks. The ritual commences with a body polish using a blend of sea salts, frankincense, myrrh and golden sparkles to gently exfoliate the skin, followed by a hot aromatic soak in the tub with a Poinsettia cocktail – a combination of champagne and cranberry juice – for an extra touch of festive cheer.
