Ocean Harvest Dinner at 'ULU Ocean Grill

In Hawaii, fresh (or hou) is the taste of the ocean, and it doesn’t get fresher than at ‘ULU Ocean Grill + Sushi Lounge. Here, overlooking the surf of the Hawaii Island’s idyllic Kona Coast, the local fishermen’s catch of the day is brought right to your table, quite literally.  The culinary team at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai believes in the RSA (Regional, Seasonal, Artisanal) approach to cuisine, with 75 percent of all ingredients from Hawaii Island.

From the minute you sit down at the buzzy, beachfront spot, you’ll know ‘ULU is not your average fish and seafood restaurant. Glance around the room and take in the playful presentations, from the tableside poke preparation to the bright colours of the specialty sushi rolls. For dessert, the daily soufflé is a must with seasonal Hawaiian ingredients including passion fruit or mango.  And of course, there’s the craft cocktail bar and fireside lounge for après-dinner libations.

On Saturday evenings, ‘ULU Chefs create a special Ocean Harvest Dinner - a five course seasonal menu with freshly caught seafood and produce from local farms harvested earlier that day. The menu is paired with wines that complement each course, hand-selected by the restaurant’s sommelier.
