Alan Cohen, the author of 22 popular inspirational books and CDs, including the best-selling The Dragon Doesn’t Live Here Anymore and the award-winning A Deep Breath of Life, will be the final featured guest speaker at the Wellness Series at Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, scheduled for December 16-19, 2010.

The 16-weekend series, offered this fall, has featured top lifestyle practitioners discussing a wide range of topics to promote and influence lifelong health in such fields as holistic medicine, sound and vibration healing, Reiki, energy healing, meditation, and fitness and nutrition.

Cohen will discuss all aspects of holistic health, bringing a warm blend of wisdom, intimacy, humour and vision to the path of personal, professional and spiritual growth. He is also author of the classic, Are You as Happy as Your Dog?, and is a contributing writer for the New York Times #1 bestselling series, Chicken Soup for the Soul. His work has been featured on Oprah.com and in USA Today, The Washington Post and 101 Top Experts.

“We created the Fall Wellness Series because our guests are interested in sound, proven treatments and want to take charge of their health and well-being,” says Pat Makozak, director of The Spa and senior spa director for the Americas, Four Seasons Resorts. She adds that the weekends are intended for both health-conscious guests from around the world as well as local Hawaiian residents.
