Four Seasons Resort Maui Readies for 2013 Series of Unforgettable Events. Legendary yogi Kathryn Budig and windsurfing champions Matt Pritchard and Shawna Cropas launch the 2013 Unforgettable Events series; ever-popular tennis and cycling Camps with top pros return and Five Vintners at Four Seasons: An International Wine Festival round out the year.
Vinyasa Yoga Retreat with Kathryn Budig - February 19-24, 2013: Kathryn Budig, one of yoga’s vivacious young practitioners, returns to Four Seasons Resort Maui to help guests cultivate their physical, mental and spiritual health. Her past retreats have received high praise from guests because she adeptly combines a playful mixture of challenging classes with her infectious love for yoga and her joyful personality. This inspiring retreat is played out on the stunning Wailea Beach and in other special natural Maui settings.
Aloha Windsurfing Camp - November 10-15, 2013: Taught by two top windsurfing champions, Matt Pritchard and Shawna Cropas. The water sports clinic will focus on both windsurfing and stand up paddling, an introductory way to learn to surf on flat water with small waves. The paddling boards can be turned into windsurfing boards by attaching sails. “This course is aimed to be fun, a 'get into the ocean' tropical holiday as well as being extremely informative about safety, environment and sea conditions,” says Cropas, who stresses the clinic is ideal for those who’ve wanted to take part in water sports but have been intimidated by "big wave" windsurfing. Pritchard and Cropas will introduce students to windsurfing, SUP and general water awareness in a gentle, safe environment.
