Diners will have the opportunity to enjoy a final farewell brunch at Acqua this Sunday, July 10, 2011 before the restaurant closes on July 14 for a complete transformation. The move makes way for an entirely new restaurant that will be the crown jewel of the ongoing multi-million dollar renovation of Four Seasons Hotel Miami that includes redesigned guest rooms and resort-inspired enhancement to its pool terrace.

“The new restaurant will be a dynamic destination for Four Seasons Hotel and Tower and for the community to experience. We are creating a space with a great bar and lively atmosphere that is sure to become a gathering place for Miami residents, Brickell Avenue executives and Hotel guests,” says General Manager Simon Pettigrew. The new restaurant, expected to open late 2011, will feature a contemporary American menu with fresh seafood and prime meats serving as signature items. Diners will also enjoy outdoor dining overlooking the lushly landscaped pool terrace and a bar that will be central to the experience.

Top New York City-based design firm AvroKO, known for its sleek sensibility, has been appointed to create the new restaurant. The firm has received two James Beard Awards for restaurant design for its project for Public in New York. Other notable projects include restaurants Lily & Bloom in Hong Kong, Park Avenue in New York, Lavo in Las Vegas and Bourbon Steak in Scottsdale.

Acqua’s Farewell Sunday Brunch will include many of the features that have made it Miami’s number one, including a whole roasted pig, an expansive raw station and a dessert bar with more than 30 varieties of mini pastries. Brunch will be served from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm for USD 70.00 per person.  Reservations recommended.

Until the new restaurant opens, 14Thirty-Five lounge will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and Bahia, the Hotel’s outdoor restaurant, will continue to serve lunch and cocktails throughout the day.
