Charlie Kent, a member of the PGA of America since 1993, brings more than 20 years’ experience in golf course management to Tranquilo Golf Club at Four Seasons Resort Orlando.

Kent comes to Four Seasons after serving as director of golf for the past three years for the Incline Village community, nestled on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. He oversaw the two seasonal golf operations, one of which was ranked in the Top 10 courses for Nevada, and increased customer satisfaction scores at both courses to all-time highs.  Prior to Lake Tahoe, Kent served as the opening director of golf at the May River Golf Club at Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina. The golf course was ranked as the No. 2 Golf Community in the US by Travel + Leisure Golf and was ranked No. 4 Best Golf Course in the state. Previously, Kent spent 13 years with the Hyatt Corporation at properties in San Antonio, Aruba, and Kauai.

Kent has had the opportunity to learn the golf swing from some of golf’s top instructors, spending many hours with his friend Hank Haney and alongside teachers Jim Hardy and Stan Utley.  Kent resides in the Orlando area while his wife and three children attend high school and college in South Carolina.
