Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris
31, avenue George V, 75008 Paris, France

Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris Voted Best Hotel in Europe for Families. The Hotel’s own Recreations Manager makes every stay memorable.

Four Seasons Hotel George V has been voted favourite hotel in Europe for families by readers of Travel + Leisure magazine in the 2009 World’s Best Awards.

“While the City of Lights may be a non-traditional destination for young children, families are always welcome at Four Seasons Hotel George V,” says Christopher Norton, Regional Vice President and General Manager of the Hotel. “With our youngest guests in mind, we appointed a dedicated Recreations Manager two years ago to help families get the most out of their time in Paris.”

Claudia Caringi is a young mother who knows how to treat younger guests and ensure that they get the best of Paris. From reservations to check-out, she makes sure that everything is attended to, so families can enjoy quality time together.

Whether for a special occasion or a first trip with the children, Claudia is delighted to create a personalised itinerary based on the child’s interests.

Coming for a mother-daughter trip to Paris? How about a “create your own perfume” workshop with a renowned French parfumerie?

Fun behind-the-scenes tours can also be arranged with Claudia. At the end of the tour, Pastry Chef Fabrice Lecleir welcomes little ones into his kitchen to sample his latest creations. On occasion, children are also invited for a pastry workshop to learn how to master the art of madeleine-making.

New this fall is a special spa experience called My First Beauty Session. Young girls can enjoy their first make-up session and receive advice from a professional make-up artist.

All children receive a small personalised booklet with games, useful French vocabulary, recommendations for child-friendly restaurants and a selection of great outings for rainy days or walks around the capital. Museums, walks, French quirks and habits are all included so as to give young guests a taste of Parisian culture.

Upon arrival, children get to pick a welcome gift from a toy-filled basket, and special amenities await in their room, including a selection of fresh goodies, a child-sized bathrobe and slippers and, for fun in the tub, special animal shaped soaps, as well as wooden letters for playtime.
