The team at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North introduces new Tableside Cocktails. Changed seasonally, these concoctions take the old standards to a new level by bringing diners face-to-face with flair.

Want a Spanish Coffee with a side of spectacle?  The presentation starts with a pour of Bacardi 151 over-proof rum in a large snifter glass rimmed with sugar and lit on fire.  Then, the magic begins as cinnamon and nutmeg are tossed into the flame, creating a downpour of sparks into the glass.  Watch as Cointreau, Kahlua and coffee are poured into the snifter and topped with a serving of whipped cream and Crème de Almond.  For a new take on a traditional Bananas Foster, a frozen mixture of fresh banana and vanilla ice cream is added to the rum and topped with Meyer's rum foam and banana chips.  It's not just a cocktail anymore – it's eatertainment.

The Tableside Cocktail experience is available for $16 in Talavera, which is open for dinner each evening from 6 – 10 p.m.

Talavera restaurant showcases contemporary American cuisine, and is named for a type of brightly coloured, hand-painted Mexican pottery.  The name is inspired by the colourful look and feel of the dining room incorporating the vibrant palette of the Sonoran Desert in full bloom.  The central focal point is a dramatic fire element framed by glass – positioned for both indoor and outdoor diners to enjoy – showcasing elevated city and desert views.
