Summer may be coming to an end in much of the country, but it’s just getting started in Southern California, where warm days and nights are arriving fashionably late. Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is offering a chance to prolong summer with the Double the Fun package, extended through December 30, 2010. In addition, guests who check into location-based mobile service Gowalla between now and November 19, 2010, will receive “Best Of” recommendations of local activities and sites from Four Seasons concierges Nadine Jurchynsky and Fabienne Pesenti, as well as a special reward for visiting several of the suggested locations.

The Double the Fun package provides twice the value, including a complimentary second night with one paid night at the Hotel. In addition, companions enjoy complimentary dining, spa treatments, wellness consultations at California Health & Longevity Institute and more with the purchase of a similar service or meal.

After checking into the Hotel for a minimum two-night stay, guests can “check in” on Gowalla to receive their “Best Of” itinerary. Trips to 10 carefully selected local destinations offer opportunities to experience the highlights of the region and favourite options at the Hotel. Those who visit three or more recommendations on the suggested list receive a USD 50.00 credit to use towards a future spa treatment. Guests simply show their phone to a Front Desk representative at check-out to have their credit noted for a future visit.

Highlights of the itinerary:

• Admiring the nearby scenic canyons, whether hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains or tasting local varietals at the Malibu Family Wines tasting room
• Soaking in the Serenity Pool or selecting a treatment from Ling, ZO Skin Health or USpa from the new menu in The Spa at Four Seasons
• Learning health tips and strategies during a hands-on Wellness Kitchen cooking class or consultation in either nutrition, fitness or life balance at California Health & Longevity Institute, located within the Hotel
• Taking a trip back through history at the Reagan Library
• Driving along the picturesque coast in Malibu and enjoying breakfast next to the Pacific Ocean at Paradise Cove

The Gowalla “Best Of” offer is valid only for registered Hotel guests while they are staying at the participating Hotel. The spa credit is valid for a future visit and is valid through March 31, 2011. The credit may not be combined with any other offer and is valid for treatments Monday through Thursday.
