Sunday brunch is a little jazzier at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village, California thanks to live music from singer and songwriter Renée Myara and a jazz trio. Each Sunday morning, new favourites and standards from the "Queens of Jazz," Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn and Billie Holiday, are performed by this talented French-American jazz artist on the Waterfall Lawn at Hampton's.

"Jazz has always stuck with me," expressed Myara. "It has been laced in everything that I have ever worked on."

"My father came to this country from France with a tenor voice that began in the halls of the Paris Opera House, then resonated throughout our home here in the US. His strong passion for sound guided me into the world of music, and I plan to live in it forever," she explained.

Indeed, her musical heritage is strong. In addition to her father's musical talent, her mother sang with the New York Metropolitan Opera Touring Company. Myara's diverse background includes playing classic venues mixed with an unexpected lineup of Sunset Boulevard institutions known more for their rock roots than jazz: The Viper Room, Key Club, Whiskey A Go Go and the House of Blues. She's also opened for Black Eyed Peas, Save Ferris, Hoobastank, Alien Ant Farm, Something Corporate and Cilo.

During brunch, guests are invited into the restaurant's kitchen to select from breakfast specialties, interactive chef's stations, salads, sushi, seafood and dessert. Also included in the price are Champagne and a made-to-order Bloody Mary Bar where guests select their favourite garnishes and ingredients.
