A splendid complement to a weekend getaway or a stress-free way to impress the most discerning mother-in-law, Wild Turkey on the Fly maximises the best part of the Thanksgiving holiday, allowing one to relax with family and celebrate both autumn’s bounty and the cool, crisp beauty of an October day in Whistler.
Wild Turkey on the Fly starts at CAN 125.00 to indulge a family of four and features the full Thanksgiving feast: a whole roasted free range turkey or boneless breast and leg cooked sous vide and finished on Sidecut’s infrared grill with choice of signature rubs Wild Turkey or Edison's Medicine, along with all the traditional Thanksgiving trimmings and mouth-watering sides, including candied yams, corn bread stuffing, Yukon potato purée, caramelised corn, creamed spinach, turkey gravy and cranberry sauce.
For those daring, non-traditional types willing to buck the trend, "Pimp My Bird” options include a magnificent truffle butter rub (add CAN 25.00) or foie gras butter rub (add CAN 35.00) that will outscore grandma’s finest any day.
For dessert, what Thanksgiving feast is complete without pie? Sidecut offerings will not disappoint with a choice of North Arm Farm pumpkin pie with cinnamon whip or maple pecan pie with caramel popcorn.
Wild Turkey on the Fly will be offered October 7 – 10, 2011 for Canadian Thanksgiving and November 24, 2011 for American Thanksgiving.
