"I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter of my Four Seasons career and be a part of the amazing team in Amman,” says Carlo Stragiotto, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Amman.

This appointment to the Amman property is doubly satisfying for the opportunity it gives Stragiotto to experience Jordanian culture. "Jordanians have an outstanding sense of hospitality," he says. "They are welcoming, accepting and approachable."
Amman is the city Stragiotto calls home now and he enjoys visiting some of the most marvelous spots around Jordan, including the lowest point on earth at the Dead Sea, the deserts of Wadi Rum, and one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Petra. His future plans include exploring the Roman ruins of Jerash, the beautiful greenery of Ajloun, the canyons of Wadi Araba, and golfing in the coastal city of Aqaba.

With Four Seasons Hotel Amman celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2018, Stragiotto has big plans in mind for the futre. "We will drive the Hotel through a comprehensive, smooth and silent renovation of all rooms, suites and public areas, while maintaining and possibly improving the level of service according to today's customer expectations of an evolving Amman."

In light of the ever-growing hospitality industry in Jordan and specifically in Amman, Stragiotto has his words of encouragement. "Be the best you can be and always challenge yourself by thinking of what else can be done rather than what has been accomplished."

Stragiotto, a veteran hotelier, has garnered more than 25 years of experience with Four Seasons across different cultures. His most recent role was the opening of Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre as General Manager, before arriving in Amman for his newest assignment.

“I look forward to carry on the many successes the Hotel has seen since its opening back in 2003 and to become involved with the Jordanian community."
