Having distinguished himself at several Four Seasons hotels and resorts since 2005, Lebanese born Rami Sayess, also a British citizen, embarks on a new journey in the Kingdom of Bahrain, adding to his impressive portfolio. Sayess has worked in 15 countries and has travelled the world along with his wife and three children.

In addition to his role as General Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, Sayess also continues in the role of Regional Vice President overseeing several Four Seasons hotels and resorts in the Europe-Middle East-Africa region. "These are all great hotels managed by outstanding General Managers, but I do have a role to play in supporting and guiding them to achieve their goals and to make each of our hotels the number one address in every market in which we operate.”

After the past few years of catering to clients back in his beloved home country Lebanon, Sayess is thrilled to be returning to the Kingdom of Bahrain where he previously served as hotel manager at Royal Meridien (now Ritz-Carlton). “Returning to Bahrain and seeing the tremendous growth the Kingdom has made as an international tourist destination gives me great excitement for the future. With the international airport expansion, coupled with all the new leisure facilities the Hotel has introduced in recent years including the private beach, kid’s waterpark and teen’s Beach Club, we could not be more delighted to cater to the growing number of international visitors arriving to the Kingdom, from existing key markets in GCC as well as new markets across Europe and Russia.”

Reflecting on the iconic landmark situated on its own private island in Bahrain Bay, Sayess adds, “The rich culture and futuristic vision of the kingdom is so deeply woven into the fabric of the property, it has become the gathering place for leaders, innovators and tastemakers from all over the world. It is simply our goal to deliver an unparalleled and legendary experience to all our guests.”

When not working, Sayess enjoys travelling with his family and introducing his children to as many new cultures as possible. As far as the future goes, he is, true to his word, taking it one step at a time. “As long as it is with Four Seasons, I’ll be happy,” he concludes.
