Four Seasons Hotel Baku Joins City's Italian Cuisine Week

Mamma mia, we celebrate Italy in Baku!  From November 21 to 26, 2017, the city will celebrate Settimana della Cucina Italiana, or Italian Cuisine Week, an annual event created to celebrate Italy’s incredibly varied regional cuisine and tasty food traditions and promote the culinary culture and flavours of this beautiful country. The celebration takes place at all Italian restaurants in town and promises a colourful atmosphere.

Authentic Italian restaurant Zafferano, located at Four Seasons Hotel Baku, takes its turn on November 23 with a Wine Dinner presenting a set menu by Chef Luca Casini.

Italian native Luca grew up in a small village in the centre of Italy, where being inspired by his family roots, he began cooking at a very young age. His passion for culinary and diverse talent took him into some of the best Michelin starred restaurants in Toscana, Siena, London and Bangkok. Joining Four Seasons Hotel Baku in 2016, Luca created a totally new concept of the menu dedicated to his land and his origins.

The week will be followed by an Italian dinner showcasing the craftsmanship of all Italian chefs in Baku at one of the local hotels. As the closing of this week full of excitement, Zafferano restaurant will host an Italian Sparkling Breakfast on November 26, which will add a “little Italy” to the Hotel's traditional Sunday brunch.  La vita è deliziosa!
