Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore and Big Green Egg Host Celebratory End of Summer Barbecue
An evening event featuring the Hotel’s culinary team and special guest Jack Arnold, Big Green Egg’s barbecue specialist and pitmaster
To celebrate the end of summer, Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore invites travellers and locals to bid adieu to the season with a live fire barbecue on August 28, 2022. Experience an evening of grilling demonstrations highlighting traditional barbecue techniques, side dishes featuring late summer crops, and live entertainment creating the perfect rooftop vibe.
Set to take place on the outdoor fourth-floor Splash Terrace overlooking the harbor, the Hotel’s talented culinary team will collaborate with Big Green Egg’s original barbecue specialist and pitmaster Jack Arnold. Together the grilling aficionados will fire up Big Green Eggs and serve a variety of steaks and sausages in addition to some other mouth-watering surprises. The elevated family-style BBQ will also include side dishes such as truffle mac n’ cheese, corn on the cob, jalapeno cornbread, grilled vegetables, and a variety of salads. Plus, a lineup of additional partners including Southside BBQ and handcrafted cocktails featuring spirits from Moët Hennessy will be available for guests to enjoy.
“The unique dome shape of the Big Green Egg paired with the use of block charcoal creates a vortex of smoke that envelopes meat and fish, creating a caramelisation on the outside and adding a wildly distinctive, bold flavour to each item being grilled,” says Arnold. “It’s truly a one-of-a-kind grilling experience.”
Tickets are now live for the event and available for USD 100 per person online. Advance bookings are encouraged due to limited availability, but are not required.
