Mid-Autumn Festival is all about the celebration of togetherness. Families and friends gather and dine under the full moon. They rejoice by eating mooncakes to celebrate the moment and look forward to another year. This year, commemorate the occasion with a limited release mooncake from Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River, packaged in an exquisitely designed collector’s box, featuring one-of-a-kind art work from the Hotel.

For the first mooncake from Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok, Yu Ting Yuan Head Chef Gui Xiaogui and the Four Seasons team created a unique black truffle, lotus seed and salted egg yolk mooncake. Each mooncake is passionately crafted by hand, steeped in tradition but with a modern luxurious twist.

“Every year growing up in China my family and I would celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival together,” says Xiaogui. “I remember sitting together as a family under the full moon, eating mooncakes and celebrating our time together. For Yu Ting Yuan’s first Mid-Autumn Festival, I wanted to create something that reminisced of those times, but with a touch of Four Seasons luxury.”

Each set includes four black truffle, lotus seed and slated egg yolk mooncakes at THB 2,288 net. A limited collection of 500 sets will be available, with pre-orders starting now and available for collection at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok from August 9, 2021.
