They rejoice by eating mooncakes to celebrate the moment and look forward to another year. This year, commemorate the occasion with a limited release mooncake from Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River, packaged in an exquisitely designed collector’s box, featuring one-of-a-kind art work from the Hotel.
For the first mooncake from Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok, Yu Ting Yuan Head Chef Gui Xiaogui and the Four Seasons team created a unique black truffle, lotus seed and salted egg yolk mooncake. Each mooncake is passionately crafted by hand, steeped in tradition but with a modern luxurious twist.
“Every year growing up in China my family and I would celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival together,” says Xiaogui. “I remember sitting together as a family under the full moon, eating mooncakes and celebrating our time together. For Yu Ting Yuan’s first Mid-Autumn Festival, I wanted to create something that reminisced of those times, but with a touch of Four Seasons luxury.”
Each set includes four black truffle, lotus seed and slated egg yolk mooncakes at THB 2,288 net. A limited collection of 500 sets will be available, with pre-orders starting now and available for collection at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok from August 9, 2021.
