BKK Social Club at Four Seasons Bangkok Named #14 Best Bar Among World’s 50 Best Bars 2022

Evoking the golden age of glamour, BKK Social Club at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River has been named #14 Best Bar in the World by famed The World’s 50 Best Bars 2022 list. Since opening in December 2020, the team is delighted to be recognize among the best in the world, including this year's London Essence Best New Opening Award at the same event.

BKK Social Club celebrates the legendary allure of Buenos Aires and the energy of today’s Bangkok. Leading the team, Beverage Manager Philip Bischoff celebrates the accomplishment with his team. “We are incredibly humbled to continue to be recognized by our colleagues and peers,” says Bischoff. “As the world continues to reopen and bars around the world return to normalcy, I cannot wait to welcome our friends new and old from around the world to BKK Social Club. Awards and celebrations like The World’s 50 Best Bars are proof of how resilient this industry is, and a celebration of how far we have all come.”

Earlier this year, BKK Social Club debuted on the Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2022 list as #10 Best Bar in Asia, the #1 bar in Thailand and earned the Michter’s Art of Hospitality Award 2022.

The menu features bespoke cocktails, crafted by Bischoff and the BKK Social Club team, that reflect the typical drinking culture of South America.​ “While separated by half a world, the cultures of Buenos Aires and Bangkok have a true passion for life, good times and great drinks,” says Bischoff. “The menu emphasises this and brings guests on a journey of the people, places and parties during the yesteryear of Buenos Aires. Rounding out the beverage menu, our signature bottled cocktails, alongside a curated list of cigars and Champagnes, perfect to get the night started.”

On the same occasion, ARGO at Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong also debuted on the World’s 50 Best Bars list with a ranking of #28. Inspired by the Greek myth of Jason and the Argonauts and their journey of discovery and exploration, ARGO is a celebration of innovation in the world of fine drinking. Every cocktail has a story, with the bar’s own Field Guide to the World’s Most Innovative Spirits offering a treasure trove of history, provenance, and production methods. Ingredients are carefully sourced, and a rotating “Canvas” menu features seasonal creations and collaborations led by celebrated mixologist Lorenzo Antinori.
