Cooking an endless love story: Known as much for his humility, warmth and work ethic as for his culinary skills, Apostolos Dimou has chartered a passionate and adventurous career since the age of 18 in his native country Greece. After working in Greece for several years, Dimou realised his need to travel ito deepen his culinary knowledge and to sharpen his skills.
His culinary journey through his career positions and work assignments went from Greece to Saudi Arabia, England, Serbia, Lisbon, Spain and now Lebanon, gaining valuable experience in many of the countries' finest hotels.
From the beginning he became fascinated with food and prided himself on providing guests with an extraordinary experience they would always remember.
Inspired by his experience of working for some of the world’s greatest chefs such as Alain Ducasse, Chef Dimou delivers the unpredictable with a classical passion and meticulous attention for details; after meeting Ducasse, cooking became an endless love story for Dimou.
When the apron is off, Dimou can be found discovering Beirut heritage, travelling and spending time with family. Chef Dimou is passionate about making a difference to cuisine in Four Seasons Hotel Beirut. He loves being part of the vibrant food scene and is particularly smitten with local markets and the wine country.
