A California native, Christopher Jordan knew he wanted to be a chef at a young age. "I announced to my mother that I wanted to become a chef when I was 8. I always loved being in the kitchen and surrounding myself with food. I started cooking with my mom and grandmother and eventually made meals for the whole family."

Following his dream to the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone in Napa Valley, Jordan switched to the sweet side of the kitchen and entered the magical world of pastry. Over the course of eleven years as Executive Pastry Chef, Jordan travelled from San Francisco to St Louis and Denver, opening two properties for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in 2008 and 2010.

His food and beverage journey then took him and his family to Four Seasons Hotel Doha, where his interests started expanding beyond the kitchen. "With the company's support, a career path was planned, where I moved through the different restaurants and bars within the property to gain the necessary experience to manage these different outlets and eventually the food and beverage division. It was the best career decision I made as I was later appointed as Director of Restaurants at the property."

In March 2018, Jordan undertook a tremendous journey crossing Spain on foot, completing 322 kilometres (200 miles) on the Camino de Santiago. "This experience made me realise that I needed a new career challenge, and when opportunity arose at Four Seasons Hotel Beirut, I jumped at the chance."

Having moved to the city that has been named as the #1 International City for Food by Travel + Leisure magazine, Jordan leads the food and beverage team to the next level of culinary experiences and to position the Hotel's food and beverage offerings as the absolute best within Lebanon.

In his down time, Jordan can be found in his favourite places – either at home in the kitchen with his wife Erin and their two boys, James and Sean, or on a plane to explore new countries and cultures.
