Plush interiors, premium fixtures and luxurious settings can mean nothing if there is no soul in them. At Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru, "breathing a soul into every area" is the key focus for Neha Bose.

"The beating heart of the hotel is its people who extend warm, unscripted services to every guest who walks through the door. And this service must always be the focal point in every guest facing area," says Neha, when asked what her most important message to her team comprising of Front Office, Spa and Housekeeping would be.

Neha believes that both high tech and high touch are equally important in hospitality. But technology can never take over the transforming capabilities of a human interaction.

The introduction of Four Seasons Chat, which is a pivot in easy and quick digital interactions, is something she talks about with great passion. It is, after all, a way to ensure that guests are no more than one click away from connecting with the hotel. It is "technology served the Four Seasons way - convenient and attentive, but intrinsically human."

When asked about the rooms at the Hotel, Neha says that the simple and elegant interiors are designed to straddle comfort and functionality. "The light bright interiors are reflective of our effortless luxury," she is quick to point out. But she admits that the Garden Suites - with a private outdoor terrace, featuring lush garden landscaping and lounge chairs for sunbathing - remain her most favourite.

Rising the ranks through front office, Neha looks at her expanded role overseeing varied departments within Rooms Division as a way to elevate and empower her teams. She can often be seen sharing a quick joke with them in between her interactions with guests.  

"Four Seasons is all about emotion, about a sense of belonging and the ability to allow people to be their authentic selves. We are focused towards creating unique experiences that reflect the heart and soul of a destination."

Neha is a vivacious GenX mom to Mishika, with whom she enjoys watching cartoons. It could be the reason why she still believes in magic, fairy tales and mermaids.
