Championing an ever evolving trend towards nutritional health and wellness, Sudha Nair represents a new generation of naturopaths who seek to re-define their field. Strongly rooted in her native yoga and Ayurveda, Sudha has pursued a deeper understanding of curative therapies that begin with the self.
Starting out with a Bachelor’s Degree in Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS), Sudha's career began as a yoga and naturopathy consultant at Sach Yogashala in Hong Kong. Opting to raise the stakes with her career, she moved to Optimum Health Center in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, where she provided critical support to patients through alternate diets and natural therapies. In her most recent role, Sudha served as Naturopathic Doctor at Balance Health - a holistic health facility in Central, Hong Kong.
Her years of practice at the clinic and a wealth of first-hand experience with patients suffering a variety of ailments have allowed Sudha to develop a holistic healing philosophy of her own. Detoxification of both body and mind are central to her care: "Healing can only begin after ridding the body of pathogens."
Confident in the body’s ability to heal itself and with an innate ability to assess and diagnose an individual’s needs, Sudha leans on a variety of restorative programs that she has crafted herself. Integrating evidence-based medicine with traditional therapies is also something Sudha is keen to advance, as many patients must be weaned off stronger and disruptive medicines slowly and under constant supervision.
Ambitious with excellent communication skills, Sudha comes to Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai as a dynamic healthcare visionist, with a broad understanding of wellness and its allied natural therapies. Her mantra, “Suffering is transient, but health can be permanent,” is sure to strike a chord with guests.
