A true Four Seasons veteran, Young began his career with the company more than 14 years ago.

“It’s been an amazing journey – I’ve grown, learned so much, travelled the world - what else can one ask for?” smiles Young, who was promoted and joined Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai as Director of Food and Beverage in 2019. “Sharing my passion for food and beverage with our guests motivates me to deliver my best.”

Having lived and breathed the brand, he has been often called on task force assignments through his career, including a short stint in Chiang Mai. “There was definitely some magic! I always knew I would be back here some day,” he shares.

Prior to joining Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai, Young was a member of the pre-opening team at Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, with one of the largest food and beverage operations in the company. With thirteen outlets, including the recently-launched Japanese restaurant, Akira Back, Young cut his teeth working with the best, before moving to Four Seasons Hotel Sydney as the acting-Director of Food and Beverage for a brief period.

If not in food and beverage management, Young would have pursued a career as a chef, having grown up around memorable dining experiences made by his mother, and influenced by his chef/restaurateur grandmother. He is excited to be immersed in the culture and tradition of Northern Thailand,

“Chiang Mai is a food paradise! I have always enjoyed Thai and Western cuisine. The team is greatly experienced, and I am enjoying my time here.”
