Five Most Photogenic Spots at Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai, Thailand

Hardly a day goes by without documenting something on social media, especially while travelling. “At Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai, we know how happy a well thought-out photo can make guests, which is why we’ve rounded up five of the most photogenic spots around the Resort,” smiles Ashok Nair, Assistant Director of Rooms and Residences.

#1: Pool

Facing the lush rice terraces and the lake, the lower pool is the perfect spot to let loved ones know that #vacaymode is on. The infinity-edge pool looks out on to the verdant rice fields of Mae Rim valley and is a great venue for that perfect sundown photo, while soaking up the golden hours before nightfall.

#2: Paddy Fields

Nothing spells #thailandinsider like a short video amid the verdant rice fields. “Guests have a truly immersive experience as our rice farmers tend to the paddies every day. At 5:00 pm every evening, the farmers come together with gongs and songs – making for a perfect capture of the mood at our countryside idyll,” shares Ashok.

#3 Floral Fantasy

For guests who #dreamwithfs about that fairytale shot surrounded by colourful flowers, the walkway near the Resort’s waterwheel is a must-visit. Featuring numerous varieties of exotic tropical flowers, it is the perfect place to create a fantastical frame that compels "likes"!

#4: Rice Barn

“A traditional storage area for the harvest, the Rice Barn is a picturesque location for private dining at the Resort with its stunning views of the lake and rice terraces,” says Ashok. Gorgeous by day and by night, the lantern-lit pathway to a romantic dinner makes for a perfect capture.

#5: Say Namaste

No better way to #wakeupwithfs than at the open-air Yoga Barn, set amid the verdant paddies. Situated next to the lake, dotted with blooming lotuses, guests can take in an invigorating yoga session while capturing the calm that surrounds. “With a gentle breeze and the golden light at sunrise, it’s the perfect moment for social media,” smiles Ashok.
