A Taste of Byblos at Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria at San Stefano
Middle Eastern restaurant Byblos debuts a new authentic Lebanese and Syrian menu at Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria at San Stefano.
The menu features an extensive selection of cold and hot mezzeh, Oriental bakery, grill section and specialty main courses. Mezzah specialties include shankalish, a mixture of cheese, zaatar and olive oil; and mohamara with spicy walnuts and bread crumbs. From the Oriental bakery, guests can look forward to manakeesh, a baked bread topped with zaatar, sesame seeds and olive oil; and saj, a baked dough with zaatar, hummus and cheese. For the main event, guests will want to try sharkriah bel lahm, a braised lamb dish with onions, pine nuts and yogurt sauce; or the sheikh el mahshi, which is zucchini with minced meat, rice, garlic, butter ghee and yogurt, among many other tempting choices.
The sophisticated design of Byblos places the restaurant among the most elegant in the city, with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea, with an indoor and outdoor space matched by a warmly elegant environment accented by an art glass chandelier and a crackling corner fireplace.
“Lebanese cuisine is such an integral aspect of any Middle Eastern experience, and now we have added Syrian specialities too,” says Shadi Suleman, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria at San Stefano. “Not only are guests treated to incredible cuisine, but the new menu at Byblos will contribute to an ideal ambiance to gather with family and friends and reconnect over a magnificent meal, matched by a high-end setting and a breathtaking view.”
The new menu is offered daily for lunch from 1:00 to 5:00 pm, followed by dinner from 6:30 pm to 1:00 am. To make a dining reservation contact the Hotel directly at +2(03)5818000
