Athens, Greece

After serving up an ace with last year’s inaugural Riviera Masters Open Tennis Tournament, Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens is set to raise the net once again for the thrilling 2024 edition. From September 30 to October 6, the Hotel will host the next series of this highly anticipated event, bringing together world-class talent and luxury hospitality in a setting as captivating as the competition itself.

With the excitement of last year still fresh, the stage is set for another unforgettable Riviera Masters tournament. Top tennis professionals and passionate amateurs alike are ready to rally once again in the spectacular surrounds of the Hotel’s Athens Riviera waterfront setting. Three 23.77 metre (78 foot) floodlit hard-surface tennis courts will showcase a dazzling display of skill and sportsmanship, hosting up to 250 Hotel guests and residents as spectators.

The Riviera Masters tournament is delivered in partnership with Tipsarevic Luxury Tennis, founded by former world #8 Janko Tipsarevic, which provides elite coaching, tennis clinics, fitness retreats and more year-round at Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens.

"The tournament’s first six days will feature action-packed knockout games, open to players of all levels. The event climaxes with an electrifying exhibition match on October 6 between Janko Tipsarevic and former world #12 Viktor Troicki: a game that's open to all guests as well as outside spectators, promising an unforgettable showdown that will leave all on the edge of their seats.

Throughout the event, Hotel guests and external non-staying tournament visitors alike can take every advantage of the iconic hospitality at Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens, from courtside cocktails and culinary delights to use of the luxurious facilities, set in a 30-hectare (75-acre) pine-clad haven with three private beaches and coves.

Energising workouts, core training sessions, yoga and more await in the Hotel’s Fitness Centre and Wellness Studio. And, for anyone seeking to ace their relaxation game, sports massages and full-body treatments can be found in the Hippocrates-inspired spa, alongside an aroma steam grotto, sauna and hammam facilities that evoke Greece’s ancient bathing ceremonies.
