The special festive edition unites Avra’s celebrated mixology with inspirational talent from Line Athens – listed as #8 on the World’s 50 Best Bars list – in support of the Save Your Hood organisation. From 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, creative cocktails, community spirit, and a resident DJ soundtrack dazzle at the Athens Riviera retreat, named #17 in the World’s 50 Best Hotels.
An Event with Purpose
With both Line and Four Seasons Athens among the highest ranks in their fields in Greece, the event is a chance to raise a celebratory toast. But at its core, this Great Sunday Club is all about giving back. In Avra’s spirit of joyful connectivity, a percentage of proceeds supports Save Your Hood – a movement restoring the bond between people, their neighbourhoods, and nature. Through volunteer-led clean-ups, repairs, planting, and more, the organisation has grown into a transformative force for good across Greece and Cyprus.

Mixology Maestros
Avra channels its signature alchemy into a night of mixology magic, joining forces with Line to create six cocktails. Co-founded by award-winning bartender Vasilis Kyritsis, Line blends Mediterranean-industrial chic with a circular-economy approach – fermenting its own fruit wines, beers, and sourdough, and transforming production waste into inventive, classics-inspired sips. A cocktail bar with a conscience, Line echoes Avra’s ethos of seasonal cocktail craft, spotlighting local and garden-to-glass ingredients.
Athens-born Vasilis Kyritsis brings nearly two decades of mixology mastery. He honed his craft at Greek bars Pere Ubu, Eclipse, and Aperitif, before founding The Clumsies – a nine-time World’s 50 Best Bars honouree – and earning two Top 10 International Bartender of the Year nominations. Kyritsis is joined by talented Line bartender Aggelos Zempekis and Avra Bar Manager Nikos Tachmazis – an award-winning mixologist renowned for crafting experiential cocktails that tell stories and stir emotions.
Creative Serves
Six crafted cocktails (EUR 14 each) serve up pure festive spirit. Line’s inventive creations include a Negroni with bright, botanical notes of gin, vermouth and a bitter aperitif. A Gimlet unites vodka, fermented pear, chamomile and a hint of blue cheese for a fragrant, unexpected twist. Line’s third creation is a Paloma which bursts with fresh, fruity effervescence, fusing tequila with lemongrass, ginger and pink grapefruit soda.
Avra’s concoctions, created by Tachmazis, include Orange, a bold yet delicate blend of mastiha infused with chamomile and orange leaf. The indulgent Dairy fuses cognac, white chocolate and mascarpone, brightened with green apple. Reimagining a classic, the N/A White Sangria combines non-alcoholic white wine with spiced peach and apple juices for a fragrant, warming blend.
