Looks like early birds really do get the worm, at least when it comes to South-by Southwest and one of the hottest tickets in town.

For the seventh year in a row, Four Seasons Hotel Austin and KUTX 98.9 will partner to present four early-morning live broadcasts connecting music fans with several of the well-known and up-and-coming artists attending 2017’s South-by-Southwest Music Conference. The events take place in the Four Seasons Ballroom from 7:00 to 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 15, through Friday, March 17, and from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon, Saturday, March 18.

New this year, the series will also include family-friendly music performances, presented by the station’s “Spare the Rock Spoil the Child” program, between the main-stage acts at 8:30 and 9:30 am daily. Aimed at the “stroller set,” the special performances take place in the Hotel’s Lobby Lounge and appeal primarily to children ages 10 and under.

KUTX Live at Four Seasons is open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Admission is USD 10 per adult and USD 5 per child (ages 10 and under) per day, with all money collected benefiting the Seton Shivers Cancer Center. Admission includes a breakfast taco, granola bar and bottomless coffee. The SXSW edition of KUTX Live has raised nearly USD 200,000 for Seton over the past six years.
