Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay launches its first Lebanese restaurant, Byblos, a new culinary experience with a picturesque beachfront view by Oriental Specialty Chef Tony El Khoury. The restaurant, nestled along the Hotel’s white sand beach, will become the new favourite address for sharing culinary memories with loved ones.
Born and raised in the vibrant city of Zahle, Lebanon, Chef Tony has honed his skills to perfection with more than a decade of experience in renowned restaurants. The menu he crafted for Byblos is his modern take on the recipes of his hometown. Chef Tony’s deep-rooted passion for food was inspired by his family’s traditions, and amid their Sunday family gatherings Chef Tony found his calling. He discovered a connection to the culinary arts through the shared experience of tasting the dishes. “With each bite, I learned to appreciate the nuances of flavours, textures, and the art of harmonizing ingredients to create culinary masterpieces.”
The menu at Byblos features delicate mezze platters such as Pumpkin Mutabbal, Spiced Hummus, and Beetroot Carpaccio Salad. The reinvented dishes such as the Lamb Shank Ouzi, the Modern Manakish, and Salmon Harra are also available on the menu, along with a premium selection of Moroccan Tea, Arabic Coffee and a variety of refreshing concoctions. The delightful Meghli Mahalabia and Brownies with Carob Molasses are perfect for ending the dinner on a sweet note. Guests can also indulge in the Kunafa presented with mesmerizing theatrics.
