On October 13 and 14, 2025, Jean-François Antony, the fifth-generation master of the legendary Fromagerie Antony, will host a French cheese tasting evening in Istanbul.
From Vieux-Ferrette in Alsace, the Antony family, acclaimed by Michelin-starred restaurants and royalty alike, brings their world-renowned cheese expertise to Four Seasons Hotel Bosphorus. This five-course sensory voyage presents impeccably matured cheeses paired with refined accompaniments, offering guests a rare cultural experience and an extraordinary exploration of flavour framed by the magnificent Bosphorus view.
Over the course of three hours, 40 privileged guests will be guided through the finest expressions of French cheesemaking. The curated menu will open with goat and sheep cheeses, followed by three stages of Comté maturation, selections of soft-ripened and washed-rind cheeses, and conclude with a light fruit-based dessert that beautifully completes the artistry of French cheese.
Behind these exceptional flavours lies the story of Vieux-Ferrette, a small yet characterful village in the Sundgau region of Alsace, near the French border with Germany and Switzerland. Known for its charming half-timbered houses and cobblestone streets, the village has become one of the world’s most respected cheese destinations.
