Reimagining the Midnight Ride: Four Seasons Hotel Boston Debuts “Chasing Paul Revere”
A curated day of history, storytelling, and insider access in honour of America’s 250th Anniversary
As the United States prepares to mark the 250th anniversary of its founding, Four Seasons Hotel Boston invites guests to step directly into one of the nation’s most enduring stories with Chasing Paul Revere, a privately guided historical experience tracing the legendary patriot’s path from Boston and into the Massachusetts countryside.
Available exclusively to hotel guests, the full-day journey offers an immersive look at the life and legacy of Paul Revere, the silversmith, messenger, and organizer with the Sons of Liberty whose midnight ride helped ignite the American Revolution. Guided by historical experts from the Boston History Company and accompanied by private transportation throughout the day, guests follow Revere’s story through the places, objects, and landscapes that shaped it.
The experience begins at Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, where guests view the famed portrait of Revere painted by John Singleton Copley alongside the iconic Sons of Liberty Bowl, one of the most celebrated pieces of silver from the revolutionary era. From there, the journey continues to the golden-domed Massachusetts State House, where Revere helped lay the building’s cornerstone and contributed to its centuries-old time capsule.
Travelling through Boston’s storied North End, home to Paul Revere House and the culturally significant Paul Revere Statue, the tour then ventures beyond the city to Concord, Massachusetts, for lunch at the heritage-rich Colonial Inn.
The journey concludes at Minute Man National Historical Park, where guests learn the often-overlooked ending to the famous ride: Revere was captured before reaching Concord, a moment that reshapes the legend many have long believed.
Conceived by Four Seasons Hotel Boston Guest Experience Manager Jeanne Lynch, the adventure reflects the hotel’s deep connection to the city’s history and its commitment to immersive, locally rooted storytelling.
“There’s a version of Paul Revere’s story that most people have never heard,” says Lynch. “We designed this experience to tell it with the depth and perspective it deserves, connecting guests to the objects he created, the institutions he helped shape, and the very road where the story famously unfolded.”
Timed to coincide with the nationwide celebrations surrounding the 250th anniversary, Chasing Paul Revere offers travellers a rare opportunity to immerse themselves in the Revolution’s origins in the very landscapes where they unfolded. While the monumental event will be celebrated across the country, Boston remains the place where the story is most vividly felt.
Overlooking America’s first public botanical garden, Four Seasons Hotel Boston places guests at the centre of these quintessential neighbourhoods and institutions. As Boston’s longest-standing Forbes Five-Star hotel, the property offers a refined home base just steps from the Boston Public Garden, the Freedom Trail, and the city’s most defining landmarks.
As Boston prepares for a pivotal year, Four Seasons Hotel Boston offers travellers a way to experience the city that feels both deeply rooted and distinctly personal. Chasing Paul Revere is available exclusively to parties of up to five guests from Four Seasons Hotel Boston. For more information, click here or contact the hotel directly at 617 338 4400.
