For Every Child: Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest Joins Forces with UNICEF Hungary for This Holiday Season
This holiday season, for the first time Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest joins forces with UNICEF Hungary. The Hotel staged a one-night only holiday event in partnership with the charity organisation within its brand new event space: the combined Andrássy and Zrínyi Passage.
The event marked the launch of the holiday season, in addition to drawing attention to a good cause, providing a platform to an organisation, while creating a one-of-a-kind Four Seasons event and experience by a team of Four Seasons artisans - characterised by Four Seasons signature service and unparalleled attention to detail.
“Christmas is all about the family, the warmth of home. Especially for the kids, this period is the most special and magical time of the year. This is the reason why this holiday season, we decided to partner with an organisation, UNICEF, which has actively helped children for the past 70 years across 180 countries. We would like to highlight and to promote international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide and also to celebrate the start of the festive season with our friends and most important partners, as well as to thank them for their presence and support,” says Yves Giacometti, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest.
Thinking Beyond the Hotel
The Hotel wanted to get involved in UNICEF’S World Children’s Day that is celebrated every year on November 20. On this day, children from around the world are taking over key roles in media, politics, business, sport and entertainment to voice their support for millions of their peers who are unschooled, unprotected and uprooted. To help give a voice to the millions of children whose voices remain unheard, high profile celebrities and world leaders are lending their support to the initiative, as is Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest.
At the event, UNICEF set up an exclusive pop up shop, as well as a silent auction with experiences with local influentials and celebrities. The star of the night was the Children’s Choir of the Hungarian National Opera House and the first multicam photo booth was also launched for the first time in Hungary on this evening.
Once inside guests were treated to a tour of tastes inspired by kids' menus - the Hotel also partnered with Sauska winery from Villány and Tokaj, as well as with Kreinbacher from Somló. The gorgeous decoration was created by the Hotel's in-house florists, Fleurt.
Guests and locals are invited to join Four Seasons in helping to make a difference in children’s lives around the world as the Hotel looks ahead to additional events with UNICEF in 2018.
