Whether it is enjoying an invigorating cocktail al fresco under Cairo’s starry skies at Aura or a meat churrascaria barbecue feast at Xodo, in October 2020 there are plenty of gastronomic offerings to choose from at Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence.

Couples heading to Aura restaurant on Tuesdays can dine on the best of Shami cuisine and head to the outdoor Blue Bar and enjoy the latest music tunes from the resident DJ and choose from an array of handcrafted cocktails. La Gourmandise, located in the heart of the First Mall, celebrates October with a new French-inspired menu specially curated by Executive Chef Erwan Laurenceau. New additions include seafood crepe, pissaladière flatbread, gnocchi a la Parisienne and salmon pave. Celebrating Halloween at the end of the month, pass by La Gourmandise for a fun, selection of spooky treats.

Revisit the authentic flavours of Canton by heading to The First Nile Boat, steps away from the Hotel and head to Nairu, a Pan-Asian eatery with breath-taking views on the Nile. October is all about dim sum; Chef Sanjit’s specially-curated dinner menu will excite Cairo patrons with traditional classics: starters include a wonton seafood soup, duck and vegetable spring rolls and an assortment of delicately handcrafted steamed dim sum such as beef, chicken, mushroom, scallop siu mai and shrimp roll. With a set price of EGP 550 person (subject to applicable taxes), complimentary replenishments of dim sum are included. Daily from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.

Across from Nairu restaurant is Xodo – the only restaurant in Cairo that serves the Brazilian churassco concept. For serious meat lovers, reserve a table from Thursday to Saturday for a meat barbecue fiesta! Chef Guilherme Reis serves eight different meat cuts - succulent strips of beef and chicken off of a still sizzling skewer and straight to the plate. Served on the table are an array of starters and salads and side dishes that bring authentic Brazilian flavours. Priced at EGP 850 (subject to applicable taxes per person), reservations recommended.

Riva, The First Nile Boat’s pizzeria located on the outdoor deck introduces a two-for-one pizza offering this October: pick a rustic pizza and enjoy a second complimentary while sipping on a glass of sangria in the outdoor al fresco deck.
