Chandelier Bar Brings Legendary New Orleans Cocktails to Four Seasons Hotel Chicago for One Night Only

Chandelier Bar of Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans will bring the vibrant energy of the Crescent City to Adorn, the acclaimed restaurant at  Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, for a special pop-up event. On Friday, September 20, 2024 from 5:00 to 10:00 pm, guests will be transported to the charm and elegance of New Orleans with cocktails crafted by Beverage Director Hadi Ktiri and Head Bartender Casey Miller. The award-winning Chandelier Bar was recognized as a “Top 10 Best US Hotel Bar” by the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation, and a “Top 10 Best Bar in America” by Food & Wine Magazine.

James Beard Award-winning Beverage Director Hadi Ktiri will showcase innovative takes on New Orleans’ historic cocktails. Originally from Los Angeles, Ktiri followed his passion for hospitality to New Orleans. For the last 13 years he’s been running the city’s best cocktail bars and luxury hotel beverage programs including French 75 Bar, where he worked alongside legendary barman Chris Hannah; The Roosevelt Hotel; and The Ritz-Carlton. Now with Four Seasons, he continues to elevate and champion New Orleans’ rich cocktail heritage with warmth and generosity.

This lively evening will showcase four signature cocktails that capture the essence of New Orleans:

  • Roffignac – Named for the 1820s New Orleans mayor responsible for the city’s iconic streetlamps and cobblestone streets – made here with Siete Misterios mezcal, raspberry citrus shrub, and seltzer.
  • Cocktail Orléans – A tribute to the city’s classic dark and stirred cocktails, blending aged American whiskeys from Michter’s, Italian liqueurs and bitters.
  • Sazerac – The legendary creation of Creole apothecary Antoine Peychaud in the 1830s, possibly the first true cocktail, featuring Michter’s rye, pastis, cane sugar, and Peychaud’s bitters.
  • World's Fair Fizz – A refreshing, floral take on a sour cocktail, made with Farmer’s organic gin, lemon, wildflower honey, egg whites, butterfly pea flower tea, and Champagne.

Guests will also enjoy the sounds of High Hat Second Line, adding rhythm to the atmosphere, and light bites from Adorn’s celebrated Chef Richie Farina. Adorn’s talented culinary team has curated a selection of bites that highlight Chicago's unique vibrancy while paying homage to New Orleans' bold flavours and spirit.
