Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre brings a touch of magic to its afternoon tea this October by partnering with Charlotte Tilbury, the award-winning make-up artist to the stars.

Set beneath mirrored ceilings and ornate gold light frames, Penrose Lounge is the perfect home for Charlotte Tilbury’s first afternoon tea, filled with plush velvet couches and jewel-coloured pillows and all within easy reach of Dubai Mall, where just over a year ago Charlotte opened her magical Beauty Wonderland.

Penrose’s team of expert craftsmen, led by Executive Sous Chef Nicola Rossi and Pastry Chef Sanchit Datta, have worked to create an afternoon tea inspired by the world’s top celebrity makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury. With Charlotte’s guidance, the duo has brought to life Charlotte’s most celebrated products, all with an edible touch. Guests can taste the magic as Filmstar Bronze & Glow becomes an edible compact with chocolate bites replacing its otherwise golden powders, Pillow Talk Lipstick is transformed into a taste sensation not only for the lips and Charlotte’s Magic Cream is treat for the taste buds. All of this is presented on tea stands in Charlotte’s Tilbury’s signature rose gold that promises to bring a special golden hue to the afternoon.

The ingredients have been chosen carefully to create the most complementing combination of incredible flavours and colours for both the palate and the eyes. Highlights in the menu include foie gras mousse on brioche, the luxuriously golden honey-date macaron, mouth-watering coconut parfait and a traditional strawberry jam and clotted cream scone with a hazelnut chocolate spread twist.

Anyone who purchases the afternoon tea is invited for an exclusive complimentary Tilbury Transformation in Charlotte’s Dubai Mall Beauty Wonderland, and any guest spending more than AED 500 in the Charlotte Tilbury store in the Dubai Mall, is invited to enjoy the afternoon tea with a 20 percent savings until April 23, 2020.

The makeup artist-turned-entrepreneur began her career in the ’90s and has created cover looks and editorial campaigns for the world's biggest fashion magazines including British, French, Spanish, Italian and Brazilian Vogue, LOVE magazine, Vanity Fair and V magazine. She has worked on over 100 Vogue covers and is the only makeup artist to have had three simultaneous Vogue covers for the US, British and French editions of the coveted September issue in 2011.
