Penrose Lounge

From January 7, 2025, Penrose Lounge redefines indulgence with a sugar-free Afternoon Tea that beautifully inspires wellness and mindful eating, without compromising on flavour. Served daily from 2:00 to 6:00 pm, the exquisite experience features a selection of naturally derived sugar alternatives including white crystalline date sugar, crafted from dates through an all-natural extraction process, and coconut sugar, a champion of eco-friendly sweetness.

Highlights from the specially crafted menu include Chouxchocolate cream, crowned with cocoa nibs, as well as a decadent Date Cake, enveloped with date ganache and velvety chocolate. Pistachio & Raspberry features light and fluffy pistachio mousse, topped with a vibrant raspberry confit, while the Carrot Cake – a timeless classic - is adorned with decadent cream cheese frosting. Complimenting the sweet guilt-free treats is an assortment of traditional Scones, Madeleine and Maritozzi. Served with a choice freshly brewed coffee or an assortment of refreshing teas, guests can also opt to enhance the experience with a glass of champagne.

MINA Brasserie

For those seeking to embrace plant-based dining, MINA Brasserie embraces Veganuary with a menu that is as indulgent as it is nourishing. Each dish celebrates the creativity and vibrancy of plant-based ingredients, curated to delight the senses while promoting wellness. The enticing menu includes Kale & Quinoa Salad, tossed with dried cranberries, avocado, pumpkin seeds and dressed with a ginger dressing. Hearty main courses include Vegan Spaghetti Bolognese with a mushroom ragout, Eggplant Milanese – a crispy yet tender ode to Italian comfort food, accompanied with an oriental salad and a lemon tahina dressing.

Cauliflower Steak is a bold and flavourful vegan centrepiece, served with a tomato chipotle sauce, chimichurri, and a lemon tahina dressing, while the Meatless Burger is a satisfying dish, decorated with gem lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, crispy quinoa, and a vegan mayonnaise. Completing the meal on a sweet and wholesome note, Mina Brasserie serves Pineapple – a medley of fresh pineapple, coconut sorbet, adorned with coconut and pineapple chips, as well as Vegan Chocolate Cake – layers of rich chocolate, balanced with the sweet and tart fresh raspberries.

Perfectly pairing with its Veganuary dishes and as a bright and refreshing start to the year, MINA Brasserie unveils a signature collection of 0% ABV beverages. The handcrafted and sophisticated creations offer the perfect refreshment, with a wellness-focused twist. Calm is serene infusion of homemade non-alcoholic chamomile gin, aloe vera, apple juice and honey cordial and perfectly captures a moment of stillness in the DIFC’s urban buzz, evoking a refreshing pause to retune and recharge.

Blaze captures the energy of the city and is a vibrant blend of beetroot juice, cherry syrup, lemon juice and sparkling soda, offering a detoxifying yet indulgent tonic.
