June 5, 2015,
Guangzhou, China

How to better spend their lunch break is probably a headache for most office workers every day. With Global Wellness Day at the corner on June 13, 2015, Hua Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou introduce a healthier solution - the Lunchtime Escape spa package, which includes treatment, fitness and dining offerings at one go, perfect for business people to enjoy a different lunch break.

Priced at CNY 550 net or CNY 680 net, the Lunchtime Escape package includes a 30-minute or 45-minute facial or body treatment, light meal and drink, and complimentary access to the gym, swimming pool, sauna and steam room on the same day. The package requires advance reservation and is applicable on every Monday to Friday from 11:00 am tol 3:00 pm, with last appointment at 2:00 pm.

“Office workers, often faced with great pressure, are in greater need of a quality lunch break to refresh and recharge themselves to work effectively in the afternoon and even later, ” says Sophia Patel, Director of Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou, who boasts more than 20 years of experiences in the spa industry.

Sophia’s words well reflect the healthy lifestyle advocated by traditional Chinese medicine theory, which encourages one to fall asleep from 11:00 pm to 1:00 am and take a break between 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Even for 30 minutes, a break at noon will keep one’s body and mind in good balance.

The well-trained therapists at Hua Spa will provide personalised facial or body treatments to guests with different needs, helping them to regain themselves. For this specific package, Sophia recommends the following express treatments:

  • Facials - After one-on-one consultation and personalised skin evaluation, the therapists will design a facial that caters to the individual’s concerns or needs, from anti-ageing and hydration to addressing acne-prone or sensitive skin.
  • Massage - Massage is a perfect elixir for good health, but it can also provide an integration of body and mind. By producing a meditative state, massage can provide emotional and spiritual balance, bringing with it true relaxation and peace.
  • Wraps - An intensively hydrating treatment that includes the layering of the appropriate serum, oil and cream leaves one’s body radiant, soft and smooth and one’s spirit bright and uplifted. Guests can choose from four essence oils as per their need.

On Global Wellness Day on June 13, Hua Spa will also offer complimentary yoga and Pilates lessons to all in-house guests and Spa members, plus free traditional massage consultation by a senior therapist to all guests.

For reservations, call Hua Spa at 86 (20) 8883-3000.
